Description:
In the year 2015, the Angels, huge, tremendously powerful, alien war machines, appear in Tokyo for the second time. The only hope for Mankind's survival lies in the Evangelion, a humanoid fighting machine developed by NERV, a special United Nations agency. Capable of withstanding anything the Angels can dish out, the Evangelion's one drawback lies in the limited number of people able to pilot them. Only a handful of teenagers, all born fourteen years ago, nine months after the Angels first appeared, are able to interface with the Evangelion. One such teenager is Ikari Shinji, whose father heads the NERV team that developed and maintains the Evangelion. Thrust into a maelstrom of battle and events that he does not understand, Shinji is forced to plumb the depths of his own inner resources for the courage and strength to not only fight, but to survive, or risk losing everything.

Description:
Kamogawa is a seaside city in the Chiba prefecture. There lives Kyouno Madoka, a student at Kamogawa Girls' High School, and the only member of the Jersey Club. Madoka prides herself on being bright and energetic, and spends much of her time helping people.

However, her life changes one day when the mysterious girl Lan asks her to "pilot a robot". In order to protect the citizens of Kamogawa, Madoka agrees and engages in battle against extraterrestrial invaders.

Madoka and Lan are later joined by Muginami, and the trio works together to protect the Kamogawa seas, piloting robots called Vox.

Lamune is an ordinary 4th grade boy who loves playing video. He buys one from a peddler girl (and helps her sell the rest). At home, he plays the game called "King Sccasher" & beats it. The peddler girl then comes out of the TV screen and asks for his help, calling him "The Blood Relative of the Chosen Hero Lamuness" or Lamuness for short. She is Princess Milk and takes him to Hara-Hara World where his role is to revive the Guardian Knights... starting with King Sccasher. To do this, he had to find an unlock the shrine which held Tama-Q... a robot who became Lamuness' Advisor Robot. Normally worn on Lamuness' shoulder, Tama-Q, when fed a coin of a Guardian Knight, coughs up a capsule which releases that Knight. All of the Knights are free-thinking mechas except for King Sccasher which is piloted by Lamuness. Opposing Lamuness is Don Harumage and his minions Da Cider and Lesuka. Later, Lesuka and Da Cider sort of defect to the good guys. Da Cider also tells really bad puns (DAJARE). A fun giant-robot series. Note that "Lamune & 40 EX" and "Lamune & 40 DX" are OAV series following the TV series...

On a Mars covered in ice and oceans, people have learned to survive by building large floating city-ships in which they can live. Description:
During WW2 a strange new alien, the Genjuu (幻獣), appeared who's sole purpose is to kill off Humanity. Whenever they appear the Genjuu give off a strange odor that is acid to a human and killed off a lot of the warriors sent to fight it. Flash foward 50 years. Hayami Atsushi is a pilot of the 5121. The number of adults killed off in the war has forced the government to form the High School Defense force, where children of a certain age and skill are fostered in dorms to fight off the aliens. They use new mecha (HWTs) and special anti alien suits made by the Shibamura group. One day they get a new transfer student. A hot shot mecha pilot who seems to be made out of ice and is a pro at killing the Genjuu. She introduces herself as Mai Shibamura.
Who is this Mai? Why did she come to the 5121? Why does she hate the Genjuu so much.
